For Everyone

• No abusive language or behavior towards:
• Glenmuir FC players, Opposition players, Spectators, Coaches/Managers/Club Officials or Referees
• Respect the authority of officials during games and training.
• Never question, or confront officials at games or training.

Players Responsibilities

• Wear all required equipment (shin guards, proper footwear & training gear).
• Pay attention to the coaches when they are speaking and providing instructions on or off the field. Respect the decisions of the referee.
• Be a team player. Learn and develop teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship and practice them.
• Be on time for all games and practices.
• Disrespectful behaviour to coaches, referees or other players will not be tolerated. The use of indecent or profane language is unacceptable.
• Fighting, horseplay or any physical or verbal abuse will not be tolerated.

Parents Responsibilities

• Ensure that your child attends all practices and games. If unable to attend a game or practice, notify the coach and/or manager of the team.
• Arrive on time for training sessions. Ideally ten minutes before the start time.
• Ensure that your child brings all equipment to games and practices. (Shin guards, proper footwear, training gear).
• Support your child’s coach and help when you can. Disagreements with your coach do not belong on the field. Questions, input and positive suggestions should be voiced to the coach in the absence of players.
• Parents are encouraged to come and watch but should not shout instructions from the side- lines with making them to play in all the matches. This causes confusion. Players should listen for coaches and referee’s instructions only.
• Parents and spectators should remain behind the side-lines. Under no circumstances should parents or spectators go on the field before, during, or in between games.
• Parents are expected to set a good example for the children at all times by their positive behaviour, sportsmanship, attitude and language. Abusive language, behaviour or physical assault of any kind will not tolerated.
• Parents are expected to demonstrate respect for the referees.
